I feel I have many qualifications that sets me apart from the contractors you have worked with in the past. As a young boy, I used to go to work with my Dad, who taught me all areas of our trade. He started me working side by side with his work crews, learning from the ground up. My father instilled in me a strong work ethic, centered around safety, quality control, and customer relations. Now, with hundreds of jobs and over 30 years of experience, we have learned how to apply nearly every paint and roof coating on the market. We have carpenters, metal workers, and roofers in our crew to take care of any special needs your job may require. By having experienced craftsmen in various fields of construction, we eliminate the expensive concept of sub-contractors, where all the extra expense is forwarded to you, the customer. This letter is to give my highest recommendation for painter Mike Costello.
My cotton gin was in desperate need of a good paint job back in 2005, but because of a previous bad experience with a painter, I was leery about giving anyone my business. Mike had been by to see me once or twice, and he definitely stood out from the pack; so, when I got serious about hiring someone for the job, I gave him a call. I knew he was different when he refused to paint the gin in hot weather due to the paint not adhering properly. He said he’d be back in touch when it cooled down and he could do a quality job.
If you were to see my gin after he finished, you would know he most definitely followed through on his promise. Quality best describes the job he did. His crew started by thoroughly pressure washing every inch of the building, then they primed and painted to perfection. I’m a stickler when it comes to painting, and his standards even exceeded mine! He used the best of materials, he kept me informed of his progress along the way, and most importantly, he charged a very fair price. His professionalism is worth mentioning as well.
